A spectacular bidding war between the "sharks" over a digital e-clinic company was featured in the most recent episode of Shark Tank India 2. The healthcare startup DigiQure E-Clinic, which enables patients in rural locations to contact metropolitan doctors for improved care, was pitched by Akanksh Tandon and Soumen Banerjee. Audiences got to see a different side of the "sharks" as Peyush Bansal-Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar made aggressive offers from different perspectives.

The presentation began with Akanksh delivering an emotive account of how the daughter of his house help died as a kid after suffering from diarrhoea. He was upset by this, so after finishing high school, he enrolled in NIT Bhopal with the intention of providing the underprivileged with the best care possible at a reasonable price. Aman withdrew when the businessmen discussed how they operate, claiming that it is a "operationally heavy business."

In contrast to their first demand of Rs. 40 lakh for 4% equity, Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar made an offer of Rs. 40 lakh for 20% stake. The offer from the sharks included a stipulation that the entrepreneurs integrate their IT company with healthcare because they also own an IT company. Peyush Bansal volunteered to contribute Rs 1 crore in exchange for 25% shares under the same terms. Namita changed her proposal, stating that this firm needs "contacts" rather than "technology." The two "sharks" then started arguing with each other as a result.

Anupam Mittal intervened during this and made a dream offer of Rs 1 crore for 10% equity. He also proposed that they give the e-clinics the child's name. Vineeta withdrew after Namita declared that she was amenable to talks. Namita Thapar eventually won the agreement after a protracted bidding conflict since the pitchers were eager to have her on board for Rs 40 lakh for 10% shares.

The pitchers are not understanding the business, Anupam told them. He insisted that they at the very least alter the name of the E-clinic, but Namita claimed they didn't need to because they would always remember her.  Additionally, Peyush stated, “This is the biggest mistake. By going with a medical firm they have killed their business. It is the worst decision of their lives. I feel sorry for them.”  Namita responded to him with a smile, reaction looks like a case of ‘sour grapes’.
