Shark Tank India Season 3 stands out as a premier business reality show in India, drawing substantial popularity. In this platform, aspiring entrepreneurs, known as pitchers, present their brands with hopes of securing investments from esteemed business personalities. In one episode, a mother-daughter duo pitched their sustainable fashion brand, "Why so Blue." The brand focuses on intricately designed co-ord sets and promotes traditional hand-block printing techniques. Here's how Sharks (aka investors) Vineeta Singh and Radhika Gupta reacted.

Vineeta Singh, Radhika Gupta clash in opinions?

Sony LIV recently aired an episode of the show which saw the clothing brand. During the pitch of the pitchers, Vineeta Singh praised the collection and the brand's message, while Radhika Gupta was concerned about the price of the sets. The latter mentioned that similar sets on websites like Myntra and Amazon were much cheaper.

Vineeta and Radhika disagreed on the purpose of the clothing line. Radhika believed it was only good for wearing at home, saying, "It's good loungewear." Vineeta disagreed, saying that it was made to be worn outside. She emphasized that it was designed for outdoor use, regardless of one's personal style preferences.

After witnessing the argument between Vineeta and Radhika over the brand’s vision, investors Aman Gupta and Peyush Bansal opted out of the deal. The pitchers felt nervous about the future of their business.

To their rescue, investor Ritesh Agarwal took a chance and presented the pitchers with an offer. Ritesh emphasized that he was impressed with the brand’s marketing skills and thus believed in the brand. He presented an offer, which was readily accepted by the pitchers.

More about the episode

When watching the show, viewers often get to hear personal stories from the investors known as the Sharks. In a recent episode, investor Vineeta Singh shared a meaningful detail about her birth. During a pitch of a brand focusing on healthcare, she revealed, "The idea of a tiny baby in an incubator is close to my heart. I was also born prematurely by 7 weeks and weighed just 1.2 kg. I spent two weeks in an incubator." Radhika too said that the reason why her neck is tilted is because of the incubator she was kept in during her infancy. Catch up on more news only on OTTplay!
