Shark Tank India has changed the lives of many entrepreneurs. The business reality show has offered growth opportunities to many startups through funding from sharks and even otherwise. It is safe to say that no entrepreneur has left empty-handed from the show as even if they haven't received investments, they do get a lot of advice from the experts on the show. One of the memorable pitches on the show has been that of Event Beep.
And now, Ashneeer Grover, one of the investors in the company, has shared an interesting update about the team. He took to social media to share the note and a picture with the team. He shared that Rakhi Pal has reunited with her family. He wrote in his caption: "It’s nice to meet up with the @eventbeepindia kids from @sharktank.india and see them ploughing through. Super happy that Rakhi Pal is back with her family ! #sharktankindia."
Anupam Mittal who had refused a deal as he wasn't clear on the model on the show, commented on the post. He wrote, "Inspiring, bro."

Event Beep had come on Shark Tank India earlier this year to pitch their model of building college communities. It offers student engagement programmes by connecting students of a college with students of high-profile colleges like IIT. What moved the sharks on the show was especially the inspiring story of one of the co-founders, Rakhi Pal. Rakhi had to leave her house as her family had given her an ultimatum that she'd have to choose between her family and startup. She chose entrepreneurship and collaborated with two of her friends to build Event Beep. The team got a deal from Ashneer, Aman Gupta (co-founder and chief marketing officer of boAt) and Peyush Bansal (co-founder and CEO of Lenskart). The episode was also being judged by Namita Thapar (executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals) and Anupam Mittal (founder and CEO of Shaadi.com).
