Shark Tank India: Ashneer Grover reacts to Ashish Chanchlani's spoof video, Sasta Shark Tank

A spoof of Shark Tank India by YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani had taken the internet by storm recently. The video, titled Sasta Shark Tank , features Ashish as Paneer Grover, founder of Bharatde (Ashneer Grover), Simran Dhanwani as Babita Papad (Namita Thapar), Akash Dodeja as Chaman Gutka (Aman Gupta), and Kunal Chabria as Uttapam Misal (Anupam Mittal).

Ashish had earlier shared the teaser of the show on Instagram, which introduces Sasta Shark Tank as a show that crushes the dreams of entrepreneurs. His spoof shows people pitching their hilarious ideas and the 'shaarks' investing in them or giving their feedback. Ashish shared the teaser and wrote in his caption, "Entries now open for Sasta Shaark Tank. If you have a brilliant idea that we saste (cheap) entrepreneurs can invest on then please login to sastashaarktank.com. Entries open#SastaShaarkTank."

Several fans reacted to the post, calling it an 'epic', 'one of the best videos ever' and 'insane', and one of the most interesting comments was by Ashneer Grover himself. He commented, "Hilarious! What acting by all the Sharks !! Sasta and Tikau (Cheap and long-lasting)."   

Ashneer had earlier reacted to the spoof. In his tweet to his former company, BharatPe, he had mentioned 'Sasta Shark Tank'. He had written, "Board waalo yeh sab Doglapan chodo aur yeh dekho - much more creative and fun for everyone."

In the video, the other influencers mimic Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Aman Gupta, co-founder and chief marketing officer at boAt; and Anupam, the founder and CEO of Shaadi.com. 

Meanwhile, the business reality show, Shark Tank India also featured Vineeta Singh, co-founder of SUGAR cosmetics, Peyush Bansal, co-founder of Lenskart and Ghazal Alagh, co-founder of MamaEarth. Season one of the show, which ended earlier last month, was hosted by Rannvijay Singha. The show is an Indian adaptation of the US show, Shark Tank. It is available to stream on SonyLIV.
