Shark Tank India judge Anupam Mittal on other sharks: 'Styles thode alag hai'

The business reality show, Shark Tank India revolutionised the startup culture in India. The show is credited for helping the budding entrepreneurs in the country. The show, which is the official adaptation of the US-based show, Shark Tank, was about the startup founders pitching their business models to the sharks/judges on the show for investment in exchange for a certain stake in their companies. 

Season one of the show, which ended earlier this year, was hosted by Rannvijay Singha. One of the judges on the show was Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal who gained immense popularity for his calm demeanour and honesty. Recently, the entrepreneur opened up about his co-judges on the show and what they feel about the contestants who are seeking investment on the show. 

A fan had earlier tweeted that Anupam is his favourite shark. "Love how chivalrous and honest this person is with literally everyone and love his calm personality. Love how he guides every other pitcher so passionately and chooses to give a constructive response in the most gentle ways," he wrote in his tweet. Responding to the tweet, Anupam wrote: “At the end of the day, I think all the sharks have the pitcher’s best interests at heart. Styles thode alag hain (styles are a bit different.)”

This has in turn won more hearts for him. Seeing his response, the user again commented: “You are welcome. Must say, your humility and appreciation for your team members are again evident. Much Appreciated.”

Meanwhile, fans of the show are currently waiting for the new season of Shark Tank India. The registrations for the show are now open. Apart from Mittal, Season one was also judged by Ashneer Grover (managing director and co-founder of BharatPe), Aman Gupta (co-founder and chief marketing officer of boAt), Ghazal Alagh (co-founder of MamaEarth), Namita Thapar (executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (CEO and co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics), and Peyush Bansal (co-founder and CEO of Lenskart). However, the makers are yet to announce the judges for the new season.
