The Shark Tank India stage has witnessed a number of innovations make its way into the tank, from inventive new food to some sophisticated new technology. The first season of the business reality show had seen a number of entrepreneurs introduce novel technologies and methods in the educational field as well, and the Singh family was one of them.
Mr Singh started the presentation by blindfolding his two daughters, and putting forth a fishbowl full of different items in front of them. To the judges’ surprise, the girls were able to accurately identify the items, right down to their colour. The same went for the items the judges put forth, with the girls even naming the serial number on a Rs 500 note.
Mr Singh went on to explain that the girls were able to do this through a Japanese scientific technique called brain optimisation, a technique which also helped them become better at studies, improve concentration and do art. The entrepreneur then introduced his company, Head and Heart, which trained people in these very methods, and revealed that sessions had been given to people from around the globe already, both online and offline. The entrepreneur made an ask of Rs 50 lakhs for a 5% stake in their company.
Unfortunately the Singhs were unable to convince the sharks, and one by one, each of them dropped out of the deal.
