After a highly successful first season, Shark Tank India finally made its way back to the silver screen on Monday, with yet another exciting season of giving wings to entrepreneurial dreams. But the new season saw quite a few stark changes, one of them being the change in host.

The first season was hosted by popular television personality Rannvijay Singha. Comedian Rahul Dua replaced the former as host for season two, and it seems that not everyone is pleased with this change.

As the change in host for season two was announced, many netizens took to Twitter to express their displeasure. “Rahul Dua as a host on shark tank India. I can't even..”, wrote one user. Many others did not shy away from openly criticising the new host, with one even calling him ‘terrible’.

Many fans expressed their wish to see Rannvijay back in the shoes of the host of the new season. When some users tweeted about missing the old host, Rannvijay was gracious enough to respond to some of them. Expressing his gratitude towards fans, the television personality and actor said that he missed being the host of the show as well.

Rannvijay declared that he was a huge fan of the show and that he loved it. He also revealed that he was a business investor too, and had started his investing ventures in 2014.

Apart from the change in host, another change in the new season from last is the absence of Ashneer Grover. The BharatPe founder had been one of the initial judges of the show in season one, and was replaced by CarDekho Group CEO and co-founder Amit Jain in season two. Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director Namita Thapar, Lenskart CEO and co-founder Peyush Bansal, Shaadi.com founder and CEO Anupam Mittal, boAt CMO and co-founder Aman Gupta, and SUGAR Cosmetics CEO and co-founder Vineeta Singh, who served as judges in season one, returned for season two.
