Sippline, a simple product that helps in oral hygiene when drinking from glasses, made their pitch on Shark Tank India. The product and its founder was met with criticism from the sharks before he was turned down without any offers.
Sippline founder Rohit Warrier can now be seen endorsing and marketing his product at The Hotel Show in Dubai. The videos shared on the official Instagram handle of the product, Sippline India, shows Warrier talking about his product to possible users at the event.
The Hotel Show happening in Dubai allows visitors from the hospitality and supply chain to build meaningful connections and source a number of products from exhibitors from around the world.
Warrier made his pitch in front of the sharks on Shark Tank India, but was brutally turned down. Asheer Grover, who is known for his hot takes and fiery attitude, also took a few jabs at the founder and his product, before he was turned down by all of the sharks.
Sippline were in the news earlier this month, after Warrier made a video explaining the uses of his product and what they are meant to do. In the video he shared on social media, he says, “Hey bhagwan, utha le mujhe (Oh God, kill me)”, which is a phrase Ashneer Grover often uses on the show.
Sippline is a simple device that covers the rims of cups and mugs, helping in oral hygiene while drinking from them. However the sharks on the show were less than impressed with the product and Warrier had to walk out without a deal.
The first season of Shark Tank India concluded a few months back, but is available to watch on Sony LIV. It has already been confirmed that the popular show will return for a second season.
