Shark Tank India has given some valuable lessons not only to budding entrepreneurs but also to sharks. In one of the episodes, Madhvi and Satish Dhatwani were pitching their startup 'Green protein' and the sharks found it impressive. Anupam Mittal, founder of Shaadi.com, even offered to buy the plant-based protein product company. But what surprised the sharks more is when they learned that Madhvi is a mother of four children and one of them is over 20 years old. While Namita Thapar said that she should be selling skincare products, Anupam said, 'Ye protein ka kamaal hai'. Everybody on the set burst out laughing.

Madhvi sells 6 fruit flavours and 3 smoothie flavours at the cost of Rs 79 per sachet. She claimed her product is refreshing and easy to digest. The sharks tried the products. Peyush Bansal said, "Ye shark tank kam, juice counter wali feel aa rahi hai." Though Aman Gupta hesitated and made faces after trying the drink as he did not like it, he decided to invest in the brand with fellow sharks Ghazal Alagh and Vineeta Singh.

When Bansal said, "Agar sab ne juice pi liya hai to hum shuru kare," that's when sharks started talking business. Ashneer was quick to say he's out as he is not able to see the passion in them. Madhvi responded by saying she does not agree and added that her two friends, who are major partners in the firm and herself do not believe that. Peyush and Namita refused to invest too but Aman, Ghazal and Vineeta decided to offer a deal together as they realised her zeal. They offered Rs 60 lakh for 20 per cent equity. Anupam Gupta initially offered to acquire 100 per cent equity but Madhvi said her company is still a 'tiny baby' and she cannot give it away until it's ready. Ghazal interrupts and says, "Good answer'. Ghazal and Anupam have a spat as she keeps interrupting Anupam. Peyush tells the startup owners, "Aapne to ladai kara di dono ke beech."

Anupam Mittal makes an offer of Rs 60 lakh for 15 per cent equity. Madhvi presents her counteroffer of Rs 60 lakh for 5 per cent. Ghazal and others negotiate with them and come down to the same offer as Anupam and try to entire the owners to shake hands with them. Anupam makes a bargain of Rs 60 lakh for 13 per cent. After much hullabaloo between the sharks, Madhvi politely refuses all deals as she was not okay with the stake they were demanding in the company.

Meanwhile, Season one of Shark Tank India ended earlier last month and was hosted by Ranvvijay Singha. The show is an official adaptation of the US show, Shark Tank. It is available to stream on SonyLIV.
