Shark Tank India is one of the most successful shows that the country has produced recently. The show has garnered several eyeballs and continues to do so even after the show ended over a month ago. Netizens continue to make memes and share some unique pitches on the show.

The show is an adaptation of the US show, Shark Tank, where budding entrepreneurs pitch their ideas and business models to sharks for funds in exchange for stakes in the company. The Indian version of the show had features businessmen and women, Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com founder), Ashneer Grover (BharatPe co-founder), Aman Gupta (co-founder and CMO of boAt), Namita Thapar (executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Peyush Bansal (CEO and co-founder of Lenskart), Vineeta Singh (co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics) and Ghazal Alagh (co-founder of MamaEarth).

One of the unique pitches on the show featured 'Agri-tourism', started by Pandurang and his wife Vaishali. The two had come to the show and talked about their business model of connecting with farmers and attracting tourists to their farmlands to provide them a glimpse of their village life. The two brought some traditional and cultural items to the show and give a sneak peek at what they are offering.

The entrepreneurs had brought shawls and caps for the sharks on the show. When they honoured the sharks with the shawl and cap, Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta call Ashneer, their 'Neta'. Singh looks at Grover and jokes when he is made to wear the cap and shawl, "Hamara neta kaisa ho, Ashneer Grover jaisa ho."

The two founders then talked about how their idea helped the government implement the Agritourism policy in Maharashtra and increase the income of farmers. However, they had to leave the show empty-handed. The sharks were not convinced that they needed investment or help with technology. But they did share some insights and feedback that they could implement in their business model.

Meanwhile, season one of Shark Tank India is available to stream on SonyLIV.
