Shark Tank India season 2 has seen its fair share of innovative businesses which have the potential to change the country for the better. The tank is also no stranger to entrepreneurs who make profit earning their secondary mission, and set out on noble causes through their businesses. One such business, aiming to rid the country of a major issue, will take to the tank this week.

A promo for an upcoming episode for the show features the founder of The Plated Project, a company that provides customers with beautifully designed artisanal plates by collaborating with artists all over the globe. But the beautifully designed plates were not what standed out in their pitch. The founder of the company spoke of how a number of children in the country still go to sleep with empty bellies, and how The Plated Project had a wonderful initiative to address the issue. For every plate they sold, they made sure to provide meals for at least ten children. But the noble purpose did not stop the sharks from asking some sharp questions.
