Actor Rishi Kapoor will always be remembered by his fans for his unforgettable films. The late actor has left behind a legacy that spans over five decades, which will always be cherished. His last movie, Sharmaji Namkeen is now gearing up for its release and fans are eagerly awaiting the watch the actor with a goofy smile again on their screens.
Honouring his legacy, his son and one of India’s finest young actors, Ranbir Kapoor shared a special heartwarming message for his fans. In a video, the actor can be seen speaking straight from his heart. He shares that the film will always be special to him, not only because it's his father's last film but also because the story was very dear to his father. He recalled how his father just wanted to complete shooting the film when he fell sick but unfortunately, he couldn't. He said the makers tried using VFX and prosthetics on him so that he could step in and complete the film, but none of those plans worked. Finally, Paresh Rawal stepped in and helped complete the film. Ranbir thanked Rawal for his help and said it is extremely rare to see two actors portraying the same character in a film.
Ranbir remembers his father with a phrase saying, “You must have heard ‘The show must go on’, but I’ve seen Papa live his life.” The talented actor also added, “Sharmaji Namkeen will always be my one of the fondest memories of my father. Up on the screen, bringing a smile to his countless fans,” before urging viewers to shower their love for the film like they always did for Rishi Kapoor. He ended the video announcing that the trailer of the film will be out tomorrow, on March 17.
