Sharmila Tagore reveals she cried profusely at the screening of Gulmohar: I vibe with this young lot

Seasoned actress Sharmila Tagore has a fantastic acting style, and she always creates enchantment with her characters on screen. She will soon appear in Gulmohar, directed by Rahul V. Chittella, alongside actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Amol Palekar, and Suraj Sharma. She recently discussed the movie and revealed that after seeing it a third time, she sobbed uncontrollably. 

Tagore raved about her forthcoming movie Gulmohar and stated that she sobbed even after watching it for the third time during the special screening of Gulmohar in Delhi. She continued by praising Manoj Bajpayee and Suraj Sharma, two of her co-stars.

Sharmila Tagore can be seen addressing the audience in a popular video from the exclusive screening in Delhi that her daughter posted on her Instagram account. She says, “Thank you so much and I hope you liked the movie. I have seen it for the third time and I was still crying profusely, although I am in it. Of course, working with Manoj and Suraj, actually, Suraj makes you cry. But I kind of vibe with this young lot. They make it so difficult for themselves. They can easily take their father’s money and get on. But they have to punish themselves.”

Saba Ali Khan, Sharmlia's daughter, shared a number of pictures and clips from the screening on her Instagram. In the final picture, Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan is seen with her grandmother, who was also in Delhi to cheer her. Later, she posted a photo of Sharmila with the comment, "Mere Sapno ki Rani is my most stunning Granny."

For those who are unaware, Gulmohar, the next movie starring Sharmila Tagore, will debut on Disney + Hotstar on March 3. It's interesting to note that Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila will work together for the first time in this movie.
