Nadaaniyan is a romantic comedy film recently released on Netflix starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Ever since its release, it has received mixed responses on social media. The plot follows Khushi and Ibrahim's characters as they get entangled in a fake relationship to achieve their respective goals. Now, in a recent interview, Ibrahim's grandmother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore shared her review of her grandson's film.

During a recent interview with Times Now, Sharmila Tagore was asked to review her grandson, Ibrahim Ali Khan's film, Nadaaniyan. 

The veteran actress shared, "Sara (Ali Khan) and Ibrahim (Ali Khan) are doing a wonderful job." Ibrahim’s film was not good, but he still looks very handsome. He has tried his best. These things shouldn’t really be said in front of everyone, but honestly, the picture isn’t great. Ultimately, the picture has to be good."

On the other hand, Tagore also praised her granddaughter, Sara Ali Khan, and said she is a good actress and works very hard. She also added that Sara is capable of doing a lot more, and she will also achieve that.

Sharmila Tagore on her last Bengali film, Puratawn

Sharmila Tagore made her comeback to Bengali cinema after 14 years. Puratawn is her last Bengali film. Speaking to PTI, the legendary actress said that she loves Kolkata and expressed her admiration towards doing Bengali films, but added that she is not as fit for acting in shoots as required due to her health conditions.”

Recalling the shooting days for Puratawn in 2023, Tagore said, "We shot for 14-15 days together at a resort on the bank of the river Ganga and we had a great time." She also shared her experience of feeling comfortable speaking Bengali while shooting for Puratwan.

The Apur Sansar actress said, "After so many years I could entirely speak in Bengali, my own language, in a movie".
