Shaukeen Uncle teaser: Aliya Naaz’s upcoming web series is an interesting coming-of-age love story

Prime Shots, an Indian OTT platform, has released the first teaser of the upcoming Hindi web series Shaukken Uncle. The project is expected to have its OTT premiere soon. Its trailer begins with soothing music and its lead actors are seen enthusiastically shaking a leg to a peppy track.

The 31-second teaser also features stunning background music along with a few short clips from the series. Fans, who expressed excitement on the trailer’s comment section, are eagerly waiting for an announcement on its release date.

Billed as a romantic drama, Shaukeen Uncle’s two episodes of 25 minutes duration will be released on Prime Shots every week. Model-turned-actress Aliya Naaz, who enjoys a good following on social media, headlines the show. The actress has worked on projects that are streaming on Shemaroo and MX Player among others. In 2017, the actress made her television debut with the Indian daily soap opera Savitri Devi College and Hospital.

Aliya, who has directed several online programmes in recent years, is mostly seen playing romantic characters in web series. Happy Birthday, Choodiwala 2, Choodiwala, Andha Dhundh, Seal 4, Mrs Teacher, Puddan Season 2, Online Part 2, Online and Bahu Jaan are a few of her web series.
