'She is really dedicated to her craft': Abhishekh Banerjee praises The Great Weddings Of Munnes co-star Khatija

Abhishekh Banerjee starrer The Great Weddings Of Munnes is gearing up to release soon on Voot Select. The Sunil Subramani directorial also has Barkha Singh among others. The actor talks about his experience working with an aspiring actress, Khatija. 

Khatija, who is also known as 'The Caribbean Desi Girl', made her Bollywood debut with Ragini MMS in 2017. 

On sharing the experience of working with the wonderful co-star, Abhishek said in a recent statement, "Khatija is really dedicated to her craft and she keeps on rehearsing till she gets it right." 

The actress is from the Caribbean Island, talking about her performance, the actor also mentioned that he was surprised to see someone kill it with the Hindi lines even after staying away from the country for so long. Abhishek also called her hardworking and an amazing fun co-actor.

The trailer of the upcoming series dropped on Tuesday. The latest video showcases how Munnes (Abhishek) is struggling to get married even after searching for the right girl for so long, however, one day one of her female friends arrives at his home to meet him, and later both of them fell in love with each other and decide to get married. Although, the wedding ceremony doesn't succeed as one of the priests arrives at the venue and discloses some issues with the protagonist's horoscope and advice him to get married to another girl first and break it off in order to marry the love of his life. The show will chronicle how our hero gets himself out of the unwanted situation.

The comedy-drama series also stars an astounding ensemble supporting cast including the likes of Aaksh Dabhade, Sunita Rajwar, Sunil Chitkara, Chetan Sharma and Banwari Jhol among others.

The Great Weddings Of Munnes is set to release on Voot Select on August 4.
