She Season 2: Aaditi Pohankar is coming back with season 2 of Netflix crime drama on THIS day

The Netflix show She is one of the popular shows on the platform, which fans have enjoyed watching. They are now eagerly waiting for any updates of Season 2 of Aaditi Pohankar’s show. And to much delight of the fans, here’s some exciting news. The makers have now announced the release date of the new season of the show.

Also starring Vijay Varma and Kishore, the show is created and written by Imtiaz Ali and Divya Johry. The new season of the Hindi criminal thriller drama She is expected to pick the story from where it ended in its first season. Sharing a motion poster of the show, featuring Aaditi’s look from the drama, both in a dazzling black dress and a khaki uniform of a police officer, on social media, Netflix announced that the show will be out on June 17.

The streaming platform wrote in its caption: “Ladies and gentlemen… H̶e̶r̶ SHE!

The series' cast have also announced the launch of their forthcoming season on their Instagram account.

The lead actor Aaditi Pohankar too shared the motion poster and wrote, She is a mystery waiting to be solved. Her caption on her post reads, “Where do Bhumi’s choices lead her? Does she play or get played? #SheS2OnNetflix, coming on 17th June, only on Netflix!”

Aaditi plays the female protagonist in this web series, which also features Vijay Varma and Kishore. It narrates the story of a female cop who goes undercover to bring down an underworld group. Vijay portrayed the character of Sasya in the first season. However, it is unknown whether he will return for the second season.

The first season of the series, which contains seven episodes, was released by the OTT giant on March 20, 2020. While the cinematography and performances of the actors were praised by critics, Imtiaz Ali's screenplay disappointed many.

Meanwhile, Aaditi also has other projects in the pipeline. She will next be seen in Ashram 3, which will premiere on June 3 on MX Player. She appears alongside Bobby Deol, Darshan Kumar, and others in Prakash Jha production. It was her performance in Aashram and She that gained her immense popularity.
