The versatile actress Sheela Sharma (who is the mother of Madalsa Sharma- who plays the role of Kaavya in ‘Anupamaa) is cur rently being seen portraying the character of Dadi in the serial ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’. Speaking of the serial ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’, the good news is that, it recently completed 100 episodes. The show, as many may know, is being produced by Prateek Sharma’s Studio LSD. On the occasion of the show ‘Rabb Se Hai Dua’ completing the magical 100 episodes mark, Sheela Sharma spoke exclusively to OTTplay about what she feels has worked for the show.

Sheela Sharma said, “I would first like to congratulate and send my best wishes to the entire team. I am thrilled that our show has completed 100 episodes and Iam praying for many more 100 episodes to come. I am glad that the show has successfully been able to form a connect with the audience. Since we all are trying our best to entertain our viewers, this kind of positive feedback means a lot. We promise to keep them (the viewers) entertained throughout. My experience of working with Prateek Sharmaji and Studio LSD have simply been amazing. Prateek Sharmaji is a perfect producer, who cares for the entire team. Be it the actors, technicians, his entire staff…. he gives us due respect and makes us feel like a big family. Dil se Duaa nikalti hai unke liye(smiles).”

In the same breath, she added, “Prateek Sharma is a very energetic and dedicated producer. He knows the pulse of the audience and that's how he has proved himself in his earlier shows. He is like an elder brother, a friend, family to all and a son to me. I feel very proud to be associated with his production house Studio LSD.” When asked about the TRP thing, Sheela said, “To be honest the TRP does bother you but at the same time it is important as motivates us to do our best and prove ourselves”.

Recalling a sequence which has been always very close to her heart, Sheela Sharma said, “Trust me when I say that, all the scenes are mind-blowing. Be it with Dua (Aditi Sharma) and Haidar (Karanvir Sharma) or Gazal and Gulnaaz or even with Rahat, Ruhaan , Kainath , Noor or Heena. Iam in love with all my co-stars and it's a blessing that we all gel well with each other. But yes… I have a special bonding with Dua. We share the same birth date and sun signs, so rest goes without saying. Aditi is a sweetheart and she is nice to all. As Dadi, every scene I have has amazing dialogues. Our director Yusufji conceives the scenes so well ki mazaa aa jata hai.”

When asked about the most challenging part of a daily soap, Sheela takes a pause before replying, “The most challenging part is to make the audience love our show amidst all the competition to strive and forge ahead and give our best. We want to give the best to our audience, something that they love to see us doing more and more, and enjoy as well.”
