Shehnaaz Gill confirms her next film after Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and she’s still not the leading actress

Shehnaaz Gill has bagged her next film after Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. It is a film by Rhea Kapoor. The movie stars Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles.

Shehnaaz has still not bagged a lead role in Bollywood despite her immense fan-following. The actress is a huge star in the Punjabi film industry and she was last seen in Honsla Rakh with Diljit Dosanjh. There, she played the second lead.

The actress was talking to Pinkvilla when she spilled the beans. She said, “I have a lot of films in the pipeline. I have worked in Rhea Kapoor's film. Whenever it releases, we will talk about it then. I have done a good job in that film too. I have tried my best.”

The film has not been announced yet but has been in news since 2019. It is also when Shehnaaz’s name was linked to the project. Various reports claim that Rhea’s husband Karan Boolani has helmed the project.

Shehnaaz Gill became a popular face in the Hindi film industry after her stint on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 13. He offered her Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and the actress plays one of the heroines in the movie.

Apart from Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Rhea Kapoor’s film, Shehnaaz is also confirmed for Sajid Khan’s comeback movie. The film is tentatively titled 100 percent.

100 percent also has a Bigg Boss connection. Sajid appeared on Bigg Boss 16 and he announced his movie and Shehnaaz as the lead of the film while she had entered the house.

Rhea Kapoor is best known for her films, Khoobsurat and Veere Di Wedding. She is expected to start working on the sequel of the latter soon too.
