Shehnaaz Gill finally opens up on dealing with Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise alone: I never want to come across as weak

Shehnaaz Gill has finally spoken about dealing with Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise. The actress remain mum on the topic for a long time. She was grieving but alone, in order to ‘not come across as weak.’

Shehnaaz stayed away from limelight for at least a month after the news broke out. She was not ready to deal with people, let alone the media and spotlight.

Reasserting that she doesn’t want to come across as weak, Shehnaaz told Bollywood Bubble, “Duniya ke aage roge to log bolenge sympathy gain kar rahi hai.” She further clarified that while she never tried to hide her feelings, she was absolutely fine dealing with the grief by herself.

Shehnaaz was reported to be dating Sidharth when the devastating news broke out. She smiled once after months and got trolled for it. Soon, Shehnaaz released a music video dedicated to her bond with Sidharth. Titled Tu Yaheen Hai, the clip was launched on Bigg Boss 15. However, Shehnaaz faced the wrath for that video too since netizens believed that she tried to make profit through the video.

She defended herself saying that people don’t know the whole story. Shehnaaz then added that she wanted to make a comeback and did that by paying her respects to Sidharth through the video.

Shehnaaz launched Tu Yaheen Hai on the sets of Bigg Boss 15, where she got emotional and shed a tear on Salman Khan’s shoulder. Little did people know back then that she was also preparing to work with her favourite superstar, Salman in the upcoming movie Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which could reportedly be titled Bhaijaan now.

Sidharth Shukla won Bigg Boss 13 and played an important part of Bigg Boss 14. He died of heart attack on September 2, 2021.
