Shehnaaz Gill: I feel my fanbase is 'pan-Indian', everyone adores me

Shehnaaz Gill recently mentioned how she's admired by a "pan-Indian" fanbase as she gears up for the release of her Hindi cinema debut in Salman Khan's forthcoming flick Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

Shehnaaz was questioned by Connect FM Canada about filming in Canada for her and Diljit Dosanjh's first Punjabi movie, Honsla Rakh. Shehnaaz was also questioned on her connection towards the Punjabi audiences considering Canada has a sizable Punjabi community, to which she replied, “Meri audience toh pan India hai toh mujhe toh saare pyaar karte hain. (since my fanbase is pan-Indian, everyone adores me.)” Shehnaaz continued by expressing her desire to collaborate on more movies with Diljit and praising his outstanding work ethic.

Meanwhile, in a recent promotional video for Netflix, Shehnaaz and Masaba Gupta speculated on the possibility of the OTT platform producing a programme called Shehnaaz Shehnaaz about her life, similar to Masaba Masaba. Shehnaaz responded with laughter when questioned regarding the same , "Aisa kuch ho toh mujhe lagta hai sahi ho jayega kaam unka. (It will be fantastic for them if anything like this works out)."

She continued, “Mujhe apne aap pe itna toh confidence hai kyunki honesty honi boht zaruri hai. Agar tum honest ho, toh bas fir aage peeche kuch nahi hai. (I have confidence in myself because I am honest. If you are honest, then nothing can defeat you)," she said. Shehnaaz was subsequently questioned if she was working on any projects with the OTT platform. She denied having any, but suggested that the platform have a look.

On the work front, Shehnaaz's appearance on Bigg Boss 13 helped her gain popularity. She will only be seen in the movie Kisi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ki Jaan, and she will be paired with Salman Khan. Additionally, she will appear in 100% with Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham, and Nora Fatehi.
