Shehnaaz Gill on #SidNaaz: It was my life and will stay with me forever

Shehnaaz Gill has spoken about her and late actor Sidharth Shukla’s hashtag, #SidNaaz. She gave an interview to Face Magazine where she said that the hashtag was actually her own life and will always be. Shehnaaz was also recently trolled for smiling for the first time after Sidharth’s demise.

During her interview, Shehnaaz said that while SidNaaz was just a hashtag for people who considered her and Sidharth their favourite jodi, it was a lot more for her. “It was life that I lived and experienced and it will stay with me forever,” the actress stated.

She then thanked everyone for all the love they showered on her and Sidharth through the hashtag. Shehnaaz did add that while it was simply a hashtag for me, it was everything for her.

Shehnaaz and Sidharth met on Bigg Boss 13 and their chemistry on the show received a lot of love. It is when #SidNaaz was formed. Sidharth and Shehnaaz collaborated time-and-again for various music videos after their stint in Bigg Boss 13.

Shehnaaz had stopped working for a time after Sidharth’s sudden demise. She resumed work and started living a normal life after a long time and just when spotted smiling, Shehnaaz was heavily trolled.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty asked Shehnaaz how does she feel about the trolling, while Shehnaaz appeared on Shilpa’s show Shape Of You. That is when Shehnaaz said that she will smile if she feels like it and celebrate a festival like Diwali if she wants to. She added that Sidharth wanted to always see her smile and be happy.

After his demise, Shehnaaz dedicated a music video to Sidharth. Titled Tu Yaheen Hai, it expressed her feelings for her friend and Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant.
