Shehnaaz Gill tells Shahid Kapoor she wanted to be a part of Jab We Met, his reaction is a winner

Shehnaaz Gill has told Shahid Kapoor that she wanted to be a part of his movie Jab We Met. The Imtiaz Ali directorial starred Shahid and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles. Shehnaaz has proven herself to be as full of life as Geet (Kareena) was in Jab We Met.

During her latest chat show, Shehnaaz told Shahid that she wanted to be a part of Jab We Met. “Muje karni thi woh wali film, Jab We Met,” she told Shahid.

The actor instead asked Shehnaaz why did she not become a part of the film. He also asked her who refused to cast her in the movie. Shehnaaz instead replied that nobody even approached her for the role.

Shahid, last seen in Jersey, made a cute gesture after Shehnaaz told him what happened. He looked into the camera and addressed the film director Imtiaz Ali. “Imtiaz, call her now!,” Shahid said on the chat show. This made both Shahid and Shehnaaz laugh out loud.

Jab We Met released in 2007. Shehnaaz had not joined even the Punjabi film industry back then. She made her debut into the glam world with the 2015 music video, Shiv Di Kitaab.

After seeing their banter, fans want to see Shehnaaz as Geet and Shahid replay Aditya Kashyap for Jab We Met 2. Imtiaz had recently recreated his other hit film, Love Aaj Kal. The new movie featured Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan (SarTik) in the lead roles and released in 2020.

Shehnaaz was last seen in Honsla Rakh with Diljit Dosanjh. The actress is now all set to make her Bollywood film debut with Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
