Shehnaaz Gill’s father says she is not fine on hearing about Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise

Sidharth Shukla has left a void in the television industry with his sudden demise that came as a bolt from the blue to everyone around. The well-loved TV actor, who shot to fame with his memorable, title-winning stint in the reality show Bigg Boss 13, had also garnered attention for his bonding and chemistry with his co-contestant on the show, Shehnaaz Gill. The rumoured lovebirds won many fans for their jodi. The news of Sidharth Shukla succumbing to a massive heart attack has not only left his fans and colleagues in shock but Shehnaaz Gill too. As per media reports she isn’t fine.

Shehnaaz's father Santokh Singh Suk told SpotboyE that his daughter is unable to cope with the shattering news. He also said that her brother Shehbaaz is on his way to Mumbai to be with her at this hour of grief. “I spoke to her. She is not fine,” he said, adding that he will also leave for Mumbai later to be with her.

Reflecting on the shocking demise of the lively actor, he also expressed his disbelief over the news and said, “I am not in a condition to talk right now.”

Sidharth and Shehnaaz had never formally confirmed their rumoured relationship but were tagged as a couple ever since their journey in Bigg Boss 13. They were fondly called ‘Sidnaaz’ by the fans. The two were often spotted at dates, and were clicked together by the paparazzi. They appeared last together on the love special episode of Dance Deewane 3, recreating romantic moments from the 1997 film Dil To Paagal Hai.

Last month, Sidharth and Shehnaaz Gill were also seen together on the Bigg Boss OTT sets. Sid had talked about how Shehnaaz helped him in his Bigg Boss 13 journey. "My Bigg Boss journey wouldn’t have been the way it was without Shehnaaz and everyone who has supported me wholeheartedly. Today once again, I’m entering the Bigg Boss OTT house with my best friend, Shehnaaz,” he had told the media.

Sidharth Shukla, who became one of the most well-loved names in Indian television, began his career as a model. He made an acting debut with the television show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. He got his big break with the show Balika Vadhu. He made his big Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania where he featured in a supporting role alongside the leads, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. He rose to fame and went on to participate, host, and win several reality shows like Bigg Boss 13, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. The 40-year-old actor had many projects lined up and was also onboarded for ALTBalaji’s Broken But Beautiful 3.
