Shehzada first look teaser: Kartik Aaryan springs into action with style and suave, in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo remake

Kartik Aaryan has graced Bollywood with his presence for over a decade now, and he has no intention of slowing down. The actor is all set to grace the silver screen in an action packed avatar, in Shehzada. On the occasion of Kartik’s birthday on Tuesday, fans were given a special treat when the makers recently unveiled the first look teaser of the film.

The teaser shows Kartik letting his inner action hero run wild, as he makes a dashing entry atop a white horse, beating bad guys to a pulp to establish his prowess, and looking good doing it. Viewers also get to see a glimpse of the film’s female lead Kriti Sanon, looking as stunning as ever.

The upcoming film marks Kartik and Kriti’s latest collaboration after their 2019 film Luka Chuppi. In addition to Kartik and Kriti, the film also features Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles. Shehzada is the official Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which starred Allu Arjun in the lead role. The original Telugu film was written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

The film was directed by Rohit Dhawan and was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Allu Aravind S Radha Krishna and Aman Gill. In a statement, Bhushan said “Kartik is such a brilliant and nuanced actor and what better way to celebrate our very own Shehzada than this!”.

Aman said that Kartik was a dream to work with, his infectious personality making it a blast to shoot the film with him. “ We thought this would be a sweet little thing we did for his birthday to celebrate Shehzada's birthday with the first look of our film", the producer added.

Shehzada will hit the silver screens on February 10, 2023.
