Shehzada: Kartik Aaryan-Kriti Sanon wrap up Mauritius schedule of the action-comedy film

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon will reunite on screen yet again for their upcoming film Shehzada. The pair recently wrapped up filming the Mauritius schedule of the film’s shoot.

Sanon took to Instagram to celebrate the same, sharing a photograph of herself and Aaryan with the cast and crew of the film. The photograph, originally posted by hairstylist Aasif Ahmed, was captioned ‘Goodbye Mauritius’ and ‘Mumbai Here We Come’.

Aaryan had also shared a few delightful photographs from the location, which featured him and Sanon. The delightful caption read ‘Met this Kute gal in Mauritius’, referring to Sanon.

Shehzada is the official Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s 2020 hit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The Telugu film, helmed by Trivikram Srinivas, also starred Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth,Nivetha Pethuraj, Samuthirakani and Murali Sharma, among others. The Hindi dubbed version of the original film had been released this year.

The decision to release the Hindi dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo had been the centre of controversy. When Aaryan had been accused of ‘unprofessional behavior’ by Goldmines producer Manish Shah, saying that the actor alleged to leave the sets mid-filming if the Hindi version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was released before Shehzada. But the crew of Shehzada had come in support of the actor and released a statement. Read about it here.

In addition to Aaryan and Sanon, the upcoming film also features Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar in pivotal roles. Shehzada is directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Allu Arvind, S Radha Krishna and Aman Gill.

Shehzada is slated to hit theatres on November 4, 2022.

Meanwhile Aaryan will next be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Freddy. Sanon’s upcoming releases include Adipurush, Bhediya and Ganapath.
