Kartik Aaryan has been in the limelight for some time now, as his high;y-aniticipated horror thriller Bhool Bhulaiyaa gears up for its theatrcial release. The actor has now talked about the pressures of Shehzada, a movie that was in the news previously.

In an interview with Film Companion, the actor said “I just don’t take that pressure. I am not thinking about should I do something that is exactly what has been done over there (South Industry). Those questions don’t bother me…I loved working with Rohit Dhawan (director).”

The actor added that the director has given his all in the movie’s making and that he believes no other director could do justice to the project. He concluded by saying that the movie will have its own identity but will still keep the aspects of the Telugu original.

Shehzada is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The action thriller also featured Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth, and Nivetha Pethuraj among others.

The movie was in the news recently after the makers of the Telugu movie decided to release it in the Hindi speaking belt in a dubbed version. The release was stopped after producer Allu Arvind told the Hindi makers that the dubbed version would affect Shehzada’s chances.

Further reports also came out about Kartik Aaryan, which stated that the actor had threatened to walk away from the remake if the dubbed version came out. These reports were then later called out by the makers of the Hindi remake for not being factual.

Apart from Kartik, Shehzada also features Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manish Koirala, Ronit Roy. Shehzada is slated to hit theatres on November 4, 2022.
