Love Gante, the first single from actor Rajashekar's next release, Shekar, a remake of the Malayalam film Joseph, is out. Chandrabose has penned the lyrics for the number sung by Vijay Prakash, Anup Rubens and Revanth. Anup Rubens has also composed music for the film where Jeevitha Rajashekar is credited for the screenplay and direction as well. Shekar is jointly produced by Beeram Sudhakara Reddy, Shivani Rajashekar, Shivathmika Rajashekar and Boggaram Venkata Srinivas.
The first single is a pucca folk number that unfolds over a car journey where pivotal characters from the film including Rajashekar, Ravi Varma, Sameer and Abhinav Gomatam bond over a love story. The song starts with Abhinav asking his colleague to narrate a good love story, after which the latter starts describing how he once fell for the charm of a girl. The locals in the vicinity of Araku too join in and have fun grooving alongside them.
Romance, relationships and philosophies are aspects that Chandrabose has always discussed beautifully in his songs over the years. Love Gante has an extremely catchy tune for which the lyrics about a man being smitten by a woman fall into place effortlessly. The lyricist's pitch-perfect understanding of rhythm and the simplicity in his lines are a huge bonus for Love Gante.
The pristine, serene locales of Araku contribute to the visual appeal of the number that also stays in your memory for the on-screen camaraderie of its actors. Kannada Kishore, Sameer and Shravan Raghavendra too essay supporting roles in the film. Mallikarjun Naragani cranks the camera for Shekar, while Sampath is the art director. The film is produced under four banners - namely Pegasus Cinecorp, Taurus Cinecorp, Sudhakar Impex IPL and Tripura Creations. Shekar is touted to be a Sankranti release.
