Mostly known for its light-hearted shows, ShemarooMe is gearing up to release the political thriller series –Kshadyantra on June 24. The show has Rohini Hattangadi, Vandana Pathak, Apara Mehta, Vishal Gandhi, Shrenu Parikh, Deepak Gheewala, Parikshitt Tamalia, Anuraag Prapanna and Feroz Bhagat playing significant roles.
The main plot of the ShemarooMe original series revolves around Pannaben (Apara Mehta), who is a successful CM for the past 15 years and is on the verge to become the Prime Minister of the country. The series is full of twists and turns and also narrates her tale of misery. Kshadyantra is said to be an impactful political drama.
Talking about the show, director Urvish Parikh shared his thoughts in a statement and said, “Kshadyantra was the first Gujarati web series ever to have such an impactful and experienced star cast. It was an enriching experience to shoot the entire web series with such a multi starrer cast. I am glad that we could manage the complete shoot during the difficult time of COVID-19.”
While talking about his character Apara Mehta also gave a statement and said, “I am glad to be a part of a Kshyantra, the twisted tale of this political thriller is as good as watching a movie and I am excited to finally be a part of a web series. Pannaben’s character will surely get every viewer enticed and get hooked onto the plot.”
The digital streamer shared the poster of the show on Twitter and captioned it writing, “The game is set, with a conspiracy for power. Watch the game of politics #Kshadyantra from 24th June only on #ShemarooMeApp.”

Meanwhile, Khichdi fame Vandana Pathak also shared some thoughts about her new project and mentioned, “This is my second project with ShemarooMe and I couldn’t have asked for a better one, Kshayantra has a very intriguing concept and deals in big issues, the way the plot and characters have been handled is beautiful to see. The audiences will enjoy this marathon run and will love every character.”
