The first reaction for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer Shershaah is out. While the film is yet to release on Amazon Prime Video, a few celebrities, the Indian army and a few others who have seen the movie, have given their verdict on it. The first reactions of the film, like expected, are pretty positive.

Shershaah was specially screened in Delhi for the Indian army and their families. Sidharth and Kiara were spotted at the screening of the film. According to a Twitter user, the army people were impressed with the movie.

According to the tweet, the army people were impressed by how the 'Kargil war was recreated very closely to what transpired in 1999'. See it here...

Not just that, many celebrities sung praises for Shershaah too. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, who has worked with Sidharth and Kiara respectively, were among the first people to laud Shershaah. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra's tweet followed soon after.

Katrina shared an Instagram story in which she stated that Sidharth 'just holds the screen'. Meanwhile, Vicky was in tears seeing the journey of Vikram Batra come alive on the big screen.

Mukesh Chhabra simply said that Sidharth has outdone himself with the film. The same was a popular opinion since the trailer of Shershaah was unveiled. He ended his post stating, "Siddhart ka time aa gaya."

Shershaah also stars Nikitin Dheer, Shiv Panditt, Shataf Figar, Himanshu Malhotra and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles. The film is helmed by Vishnu Varadhan and produced by Dharma Productions along with Kaash Entertainment.

Shershaah is based on PVC Captain Vikram Batra who lost his life during the Kargil war in 1999. The film is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on August 12, 2021.
