Shiddat song Akhiyan Udeek Diyan featuring Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan wins hearts

The makers of Shiddat have released a song Akhiyan Udeek Diyan featuring the movie’s lead stars Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan with Diana Penty and Mohit Raina. 

Akhiyan Udeek Diyan is a rehash of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s song of the same name, whose video has garnered over 6 lakh views since its release. Manan Bhardwaj has added a contemporary touch to this classic number, and even penned additional lyrics. Master Saleem has lent his vocals. 

Featuring Sunny, Radhika, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty, the romantic track starts with a note reading ‘How far will you go for the one you love.’ It also chronicles the struggle to reach out to a loved one by fighting all challenges that come in the way. 

Akhiyan Udeek Diyan is the second song from the movie’s soundtrack after the title track that was released last week.

Shiddat, directed by Kunal Deshmukh, features Kaushal and Madan as Jaggi and Kartika, two people who fall in love but destiny has different plans for them. Sridhar Raghavan and Dheeraj Rattan have penned the script, with dialogues by Rattan. 

Shiddat is also being noticed on-screen pair’s chemistry in the trailer. The duo has since then added more fans to their following.

Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films have co-produced the love story that will release on Disney+ Hotstar Multiplex on 1 October.
