Shiddat trailer: Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan's film gives major Tum Mile vibes

Jannat director Kunal Deshmukh has returned to direction after seven years with Shiddat. The first look posters of the film featuring Sunny Kaushal and Radhika Madan sent the Internet into meltdown as the duo showcase their intense and sizzling chemistry. Now, the trailer for Shiddat is out and it seems to be an amalgamation of Jannat and Kunal's other directorial Tum Mile. The story is about two star-crossed souls engulfed in a web of passionate romance.

In the two minutes 15 seconds long trailer, Sunny and Radhika make for a perfect yin and yang pair. They indulge in a palpable and sizzling romance but destiny has some other plans. Radhika's character Kartika is set to tie the knot with someone else and will Jaggi (Sunny) win her heart back make for the whole story. The trailer for Shiddat also features charming Mohit Raina and enchanting Diana Penty in a bridal look. 

In a statement, while talking about the film, Maddock Films head honcho Dinesh Vijan stated, "As a genre, love stories are timeless, they have always been embraced by audiences. An emotion every one of us has felt, the agony, the ecstasy, the whole grandeur of romance is what we have tried to capture in Shiddat."

This is the second OTT movie outing for Dinesh after Mimi starring Kriti Sanon in the leading role. He also produced SonyLIV original series Chutzpah which was released earlier this year. 

Bhushan Kumar and Firuzi Khan have co-produced Shiddat. 

Shridhar Raghavan and Dheeraj Kedarnath Rattan have penned the screenplay for Shiddat and the dialogues are Dheeraj Kedarnath Rattan, Pooja Ladha Surti along Raghavan.

This is the first outing of Sunny and Radhika in the movies and the film has skipped a theatrical release. Shiddat is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from October 1, 2021.
