Pavan Malhotra is back as an antagonist. This time he runs an educational scam. We have Gulshan Devaiah and Gauahar Khan trying to stop him. However, can they?

Directed by Syed Ahmed Afzal, Shiksha Mandal is based on true events. Pavan only puts life into his character by asking the obvious question – what if you can earn in five years what would otherwise take 20 years?

The MX Original series promises intrigue. By not revealing anything about the protagonists, the makers have kept the mystery alive.

When it comes to educational scam, expect there to be a political angle. Money, secrets and scandal are also a combo package that come with such a plot. Shiksha Mandal is no exception and the show promises that you will get to see all of it packaged into one.

Gauahar, who plays a cop for the first time through the show, says, “It’s a challenging role for me, and I hope I can give complete justice to it.” The actress also spoke about the concept of the show and added, “We need to ensure that we give everyone an equal and fair opportunity to be educated. It is something we must strive to work towards.”

Gulshan, who has already been a teacher in real life, felt that his role ‘made perfect sense.’ Pavan, on the other hand explains, “With Shiksha Mandal, we are deconstructing what goes in the corrupted educational circuit and the impact on the common people involved.”

The show brings Gauahar, Gulshan and Pavan together for the first time. Also starring Rajendra Sethi and Iram Badar Khan, Shiksha Mandal will release on MX Player on September 15.
