Shilpa Shetty announces her next project, Sukhee, directed by Sonal Joshi; unveils first look poster

After years of keeping her film career on the back burner, Shilpa Shetty is now rolling up her sleeves with her big-screen projects. After making a comeback with Hungama 2, the actress has now announced her next film project, titled Sukhee.

Shetty took to her official social media handles to announce the exciting news and unveil the first poster of her upcoming project. At first glimpse, the poster reminds one of the phrase, ‘jack of all trades’. The actress is seen having a host of different items in hand including a cabbage, lunchbox, wallet, watch and even an iron box. A few figures are seen dancing around the actress’ head as well, possibly depicting different kinds of careers. Among the careers, a dancer, a horse rider, a motorcycle rider and a singer can be made out.

The post’s caption suggests that Shetty’s character, who is the titular protagonist, will be a bold and outspoken one. The full caption reads, “Thodi bedhadak si hoon main, Meri zindagi hai khuli kitaab,Duniya besharam kehti hai to kya,

The upcoming film will be directed by Sonal Joshi and will be produced under the banners of T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Shikhaa Sharma and Gulshan Kumar will serve as the film’s producers.

After a hiatus from films, Shetty had made her comeback to the big screen last year, essaying a lead role in the romantic comedy Hungama 2, opposite Paresh Rawal. Before her hiatus, the actress made her last appearance in a song sequence in the film, Dishkiyaoon.
