A prequel to Special Ops released on Disney+ Hotstar titled Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story. While Kay Kay Menon took the spotlight with his portrayal of Himmat Singh, Shiv Jyoti also had people talking about her.
Shiv Jyoti plays the romantic love interest of Kay Kay Menon’s Himmat Singh in the story, and has grabbed the attention of fans. Though only just her second screen outing, the actor said that playing Anita Sharma in the show came easy to her.
“It was delightful and easy. I didn’t feel like a newcomer or less experienced on the sets. Kay Kay Menon is very accommodating and adjusting. He made me so comfortable and I got to learn a great deal from him.” said Shiv Jyoti Rajput in an interview with Time of India.

Jyoti said that she was a “pathetic ramp model” and that she just wanted the people to focus more on her rather than the clothes she wore and that is when she realized her love for the camera and began her advertising career, where she learned about the technicalities of being in front of the camera and being comfortable.
She also said that she is looking to push the envelope by playing challenging characters but does not believe in taking big steps without having learnt nothing in the process.
Jyoti added that she has no eyes focused on her as she is a newbie and that she aspires to have the audience look up and take notice of the roles she takes up.
Having worked with stars such as Akshay Kumar and Ranvir Singh in her days as a model, Jyoti made her acting debut with ALT Balaji’s web series Bebaakee.
