Bigg Boss 16 was a reality show where Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik became good friends. Their friendship on the show was loved by fans. Although it's been a long time since BB16 got over, Shiv and Abdu continue to be on good terms. Recently, the news of Abdu's wedding date went viral on social media. Shiv initially thought it was a prank but his friend Abdu (from Bigg Boss 16) confirmed to him that the news was true. In an interview with ETimes TV, Shiv said he is excited to attend his friend's wedding, which will take place on July 7, 2024.

Speaking with the entertainment portal, Shiv Thakare shed light on the wedding news of Bigg Boss 16 contestant Abdu Rozik. "I initially felt it was a prank and told a media publication also. After seeing the news everywhere Abdu called and informed me that the news is actually true and that he is getting married," he said.
The Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 contestant added that he is happy for Abdu as the young singer is about to get married and start a new phase in his life. Shiv recalled Abdu had discussed getting married in the past. "I am going to attend his wedding festivities and dance like crazy. Full on dhamaal karunga…," mentioned Shiv.

For those who are unaware, Abdu Rozik got engaged to a girl named Amira from Sharjah on April 24. A few days ago, the singer shared photos from his engagement ceremony on Instagram. However, the former Bigg Boss contestant's fiancée's face wasn't seen in the pictures.

Earlier, in an interview with Bombay Times, Abdu Rozik opened up about his engagement to Amira. The young singer said, "I am happy that someone like me, a short guy has found love." He also revealed that Salman Khan called to congratulate him and stated the superstar would attend his wedding.
