According to the latest reports, actor Kishore of Kantara, Ponniyin Selvan, and The Family Man fame is all set to share the screen space with the Century Star Shiva Rajkumar. This would be the duo's maiden collaboration in what's been touted as a suspense thriller helmed by director Thejaswi K Nag.
The yet-untitled project is expected to go on floors at the earliest, once Shivanna wraps up his existing commitments. The same reports add that the film, as per Thejaswi Nag, will feature Shiva Rajkumar in a 'never-before-seen' avatar and that the veteran actor was impressed with the way his character has been conceived. Fans, too, would love to see their beloved superstar in a suspense thriller which remains the least explored genre in his 36-year-long career.
The same project, reportedly, will be bankrolled by Manjula Shivarjuna under the 'Nischita Combines' banner. Kishore is expected to play a pivotal role in the film but details regarding his character, or the film's storyline, remain under wraps. Thejaswi K. Nag has previously directed Srujan Lokesh in the feature film Ellidde Illi Tanaka.
Shiva Rajkumar is currently among the busiest actors in the business with multiple projects in the works. The 60-year-old actor, who recently marked his 125th release with A. Harsha's Vedha, is shooting for M.G. Srinivas' heist thriller Ghost in which he will be alongside veteran Malayalam actor Jayaram. Simultaneously, Shivanna is working on Yogaraj Bhat's Karataka Dhamanaka (also starring Prabhudeva) and is likely to begin work on music composer Arjun Janya's debut directorial 45, which also stars Real Star Upendra and Raj B. Shetty.
In tandem, Shiva Rajkumar is also foraying into the Tamil Film Industry with two high-profile projects in the form of Jailer and Captain Miller. The former stars superstar Rajinikanth in the lead and the cast also comprises Mohanlal & other reputed names; the latter film, on the other hand, has Shivanna playing Dhanush's older brother in a cameo role.
Kishore, on the other hand, has been making the news for his bold remarks concerning several prominent topics. The Kantara actor recently hit the headlines after his Twitter account was allegedly suspended over his radical political views but Kishore made a due intervention to clarify that the suspension was actually because of a hacking incident. His recent comments regarding KGF 2, too, were misinterpreted by the media which pulled him back into the limelight, compelling him to take to social media to share another clarification. Kishore also drew attention for equating the 'Boycott Bollywood' trend to hooliganism.
