Karataka Damanaka, which is director Yogaraj Bhat’s first collaboration with Century Star Shivarajkumar and brings choreographer-actor-director Prabhudeva back to Kannada cinema, is set to release in theatres on March 8. Ahead of this, the team has been releasing songs from the V Harikrishna musical.

A little while ago, a lyrical video of the dance number Deega Digari was released and fans will be pleased to know that there is a fair bit of visuals from the actual footage and from the looks of it, this one’s going to see both Shivarajkumar and Prabhudeva bust quite a few moves. The song has been written by Yogaraj and features over 100 background dancers. The song was shot at a special set erected at Rockline Studios.

The energetic dance moves apart, what’s also special about the song is that Harikrishna has got Real Star Upendra to serve as singer, along with Rajesh Krishnan. Bhushan master has choreographed the song, which, it seems, has quite a few remarkable hook steps. Produced by Rockline Venkatesh, whose last, Kaatera with Challenging Star Darshan was a big hit, Karataka Damanaka has Shivarajkumar and Prabhudeva playing conmen.

Netizens have been commending both Shivarajkumar and Prabhudeva for the agility and energy displayed in the song, adding that the Century Star, especially, proves that age is only a number.

The action-packed entertainer Karataka Damanaka gets its title from a Panchatantra tale, about two foxes who cause chaos in the forest. The film also stars Priya Anand and Nishvika Naidu, with producer Rockline Venkatesh filling in as a cop. This is Nishvika’s third collaboration with Yogaraj after her cameo in Gaalipata 2 and special dance number in Garadi.

Karataka Damanaka is only the second Kannada film to zero in on March 8 as its release date. As of now, it will be in competition with director Guruprasad’s latest collaboration with Jaggesh, Ranganayaka.
