Shivarajkumar on his prep for Gummadi Narsaiah biopic: The story took me back to my father

By now, it is a known fact that Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar is acting in the biopic of popular politician Gummadi Narsaiah, who is known as the champion of the poor and famously rode a bicycle to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. His biopic is being made now, and Shiva Rajkumar is playing the title role. 

Gummadi Narasiah biopic launched with fanfare

The biopic was launched on a grand note in Palavancha and some of the biggest politicians graced the events. A lot of Shiva Rajkumar fans also graced the event, and the star spoke his heart out about the film.

The Kannada star stated that the moment he heard the story of Gummadi Narsaiah, he remembered his father, the legendary actor Rajkumar. “When I recently visited Gummadi Narsaiah garu’s home, I felt as if I had gone back to my father. It brought back so many memories of my father, who used to tell me, ‘Don’t live for yourself, live for others.’ The story deeply connected with me, and that is the reason I decided to be a part of this film,” Shivarajkumar said.

Shivarajkumar is going to play a very intense role in this film to portray the politician who is known for his zero controversies. “I am working hard to portray Gummadi Narsaiah garu to the best of my capabilities. I have started to learn Telugu, and I have promised myself that I will dub for the biopic. I am very confident that Gummadi Narsaiah will be an inspiration to all the political leaders and win a lot of awards for its realistic narration.”

Gummadi Narsaiah is being directed by Parameshwar, and he stated that ever since he started scripting the film, the only actor who came to his mind was Shivarajkumar. Speaking at the event, he said that Shivarajkumar had something in him that was quite similar to Gummadi Narsaiah. 

“We should not enter politics for our survival; we should do it only to help the people who believe in us. This was Gummadi Narsaiah’s motto, and to carry this emotion, I felt Shivarajkumar sir was the best actor around to bring that reliability factor,” he stated.

The makers have already revealed the first look and motion poster and have been continuously giving updates. The shooting of the film will kickstart soon, and Satish Muthyala is taking care of the camera work.
