Shodha trailer: Is Rohit crazy or is Meera really not his wife?
Shodha, a 6-episode Kannada suspense thriller will begin streaming on August 22, ahead of which, the platform revealed a trailer with mysterious plot points.

A new Kannada web series is set to release on August 22. Z5’s second original show, Shodha, which will be available via OTTplay Premium as well, is a suspense thriller set in Madikeri, with actor-filmmaker Pawan Kumar in the lead. The streamer has now dropped a trailer of the show hinting at a mystery around the identity of Pawan’s character Rohit’s wife, Meera, played by Siri Ravikumar.
Shodha: A missing wife returns, but is she really who she says she is?
Following a certain trauma, Rohit remembers everyone but Meera, which he believes is part of a plot to declare him insane. But why and to what end? Is Meera really who she says she is? Or is Rohit going crazy? That is what he has to get to the bottom of, with or without the support of the investigation officer Bhairava, played by Arun Sagar. Anusha Ranganath, who was last seen in the Vinay Rajkumar-starrer 10, is also in the mix, as is Kantara fame Saptami Gowda.
The trailer has a Rangitaranga vibe, what with the missing wife and the lack of memories that Rohit has with Meera, but that could just be a red herring, with the real plot set to unfold on August 22. Shodha has been written by Suhas Navarathna, who was the creator of the Kannada web series Kyaabre. Orchestra, Mysuru! fame Sunil Mysooru directed the 6-episode show, which has been backed by KRG Studios.
Shodha is Z5’s second Kannada original web show, following Ayyana Mane, which came out in April. The thriller with supernatural elements had Kushee Ravi in the lead and had been made by the Shruti Naidu-Ramesh Indira combo, popular names in the Kannada television serial space. While Shodha marks the web series debut of Anusha, Saptami and Arun, both Pawan and Siri are veterans in the space. He was in Honeymoon and his directorial, Kudi Yedamaithe, while she did Kyaabre and By Mistake.
