Satinder Kumar Khosla, a veteran actor, popularly known as Birbal passed away. He was 80 years old. The actor took his last breath on Tuesday night at Mumbai's Kokilaben Hospital.
His friend Jugnu told ANI that the 'Sholay' actor has passed away. Khosla passed away due to cardiac arrest. On Wednesday, his last rites will be performed.
In the popular film Sholay, Birbal Khosla played the prisoner with a half-cut mustache, his that character garnered a lot of attention.

In the year 1966, Khosla made his acting debut in the film Do Bandhan. He became well-known, though, because to the movie Boond Jo Ban Gayee Moti. Later, Khosla contributed to more than 500 films, including those in Hindi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, and Marathi. Fir Kabhi, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Sadma, Charlie Chaplin, Anurodh, Tapasya, Amir Garib, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Dil, Gambler, and Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi are a few of his movies.
Upkar, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, and Kranti are just a few of the Manoj Kumar movies in which he appeared. Along with this, he appeared in movies like Naseeb, Yaarana, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, and Anjaam.
On X, the Cine and TV Artistes' Association paid respect to Khosla and offered its condolences. Their post read: “CINTAA expresses its condolences on the demise of Birbal (Member since 1981).”
