Sholay will have yet another theatrical re-release in November and this time, the movie will see the first ever ending shot. Ramesh Sippy confirmed the news to Pinkvilla on video and shared, "We had shot that as the original ending, but it had to be re-shot because it did not make it past the censors. It was the Emergency period, so we could not show a police inspector taking his revenge by killing the enemy. But now with its theatrical release on November 24, we will screen that."
