Shoorveer character teaser: Aadil Khan as Squadron Leader Salim Kamali is India's finest fighter pilot- watch

The highly anticipated military drama is all set to debut on Disney+ Hotstar soon. Audiences loved the trailer and raved about it, while the makers have recently started dropping the character promos of the leading characters from the series. After Armaan Ralhan and Regina Cassandra, the promo unvieleing Aadil Khan as Squadron Leader Salim Kamali is out.

The latest video begins with a background voice praising Aadil's character as he says, "Squadron Leader Salim Kamali, among the finest fighter pilots of the country. He is an intelligent man."

The promo further sees the actor getting captured by the enemy but not losing his cool and enjoying their brutal treatment. It also displays glimpses of his personal life, where he can be seen spending time with a woman and also celebrating her daughter's birthday. He can also be seen flying a jet.

Talking about prepping for his character, Aadil said in a recent statement that he worked really hard and as soon as he was done with shooting for Disney+ Hotstar's Special Ops 1.5. he began his preparations for Shoorveer. "It took me months to prepare for the character of Salim Kamali and the fact that I was playing a defense personnel was even harder. I had to get an understanding from people who were in defense and they were physically very fit. My character is such who does not leave any stone unturned and he performs to the best of his capability as a defense personnel," he further informed.

He shared his latest teaser on Instagram with a special caption that reads, "Squadron Leader Salim Kamali, is India's finest fighter pilot by day and a loving father by night. But what comes first - nation or family? Catch Me as Squadron Leader Salim Kamali in the new #HotstarSpecials #Shoorveer - All episodes streaming from 15th July only on @disneyplushotstar #ShoorveerOnHotstar #BeTheVeer (sic)."

Shoorveer, which also stars Makarand Deshpande, Manish Chaudhary, Arif Zakaria, Anjali Barot, Kuldeep Sareen, Faisal Rashid, Sahil Mehta and Shivya Pathani in significant roles, is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 15.
