Shoorveer trailer: Regina Cassandra, Makarand Deshpande's show is all about patriotism with a hint of romance

The much-awaited trailer of Hotstar specials Shoorveer is finally out. The Kanishk Varma directorial stars Regina Cassandra, Makarand Deshpande, Arif Zakaria and Manish Chaudhary among others in pivotal roles. The upcoming action-thriller series chronicles the life of our elite soldiers and their personal relationships as well as focuses on how all three forces including Air-Force, Army and Navy plan and work together to sabotage one of the biggest attacks from the enemy.

The latest trailer begins with an attack that makes the high-rank officers make a special task force. Chaudhary as a senior Air-Force officer assembles a group of the best soldiers. Meanwhile, the soldiers from Cassandra alongside Armaan Ralhan, Aadil Khan, Abhishek Saha and others can be seen getting trained for an important mission, meanwhile, they can be seen dealing with their personal issues amid the chaos as well.

On Sunday, before the release of the trailer, Regina shared a badass poster from the show featuring her alongside her co-actors.The post reads, "Keeping differences aside, they unite for a single mission - The #Shoorveer is trailer out tomorrow and my excitement is doing some crazy manoeuvres here. Talking about Shoorveer and all the actors, the director said in a recent statement that the series is packed with versatile actors to lend their unique acting blend and that directing them has been an amazing journey. "When you see veterans like Makarand Deshpande and Manish Chaudhary embrace their roles after you shout action, you witness magic before your eyes," the filmmaker added.

Kanishk further added, "It’s been one of toughest shows but seeing it all come together on screen has been a truly satisfying experience.”

Shoorveer, which also stars Anjali Barot, Kuldeep Sareen, Faisal Rashid, Sahil Mehta and Shivya Pathani in key roles, is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 15.
