It is confirmed! The sequel of the 2010 superhit movie, Love, Sex aur Dhokha, will be rolled out soon and will be directed by filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee.

Confirming the development today, popular filmmaker Ekta Kapoor and her production firm, Balaji Telefilms said in a press statement that “Balaji Telefilms, the renowned Indian production house, has officially announced the commencement of the highly anticipated shoot for their upcoming film, Love, Sex aur Dhokha 2 (LSD 2).”

The makers of the movie believe that it is “set to captivate audiences worldwide. This thrilling sequel is slated to hit theaters on February 16, 2024, delivering an unforgettable and exhilarating experience.”

Ekta Kapoor, too, bounced with joy on the development and even dropped an Instagram post on it. In the post, she said, “Love, Sex aur Dhokha 2 starts rolling now! About Love, Sex Aur Dhokha

Love Sex Aur Dhokha was a 2010 superhit drama film directed by Dibakar Banerjee and written by Banerjee and Kanu Behl. The film featured actors including Anshuman Jha, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Rajkummar Rao, Neha Chauhan, Amit Sial, Herry Tangri, and Ashish Sharma. The movie is encircled on three topics namely honour killing, an MMS scandal, and sting operations.

It is yet unclear whether the sequel of the film will feature actors from the initial movie. The initial movie was released on March 19, 2010. It was given an A Certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
