Pizza horror film series
Because of its captivating story, surprising turns, and outstanding performances, the first installment of this series, Pizza (2012), garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews from viewers, raising the bar for the horror thriller genre in the Tamil film industry. This movie, which starred Vijay Sethupathi, Remya Nambeesan, Aadukalam Naren, Pooja Ramachandran, and Bobby Simha, marked Karthik Subbaraj's directorial debut. Later, the film was remade in Bengali, Kannada, and Hindi.
The second installment, Pizza II: Villa, featured Ashok Selvan, Sanchita Shetty, Nassar, and Kaali Venkat in it. The film is available on Disney+ Hotstar. Pizza 3: The Mummy, which was released in 2023, is streaming on Amazon Prime. Due to a plodding plot and less scary elements, these two movies did not leave much of an impression on the viewers.
