Eros Now is a membership-based OTT and a video-on-request entertainment and media platform, launched in 2012. It is owned by Eros Digital, the Indian digital media management arm of the US media organization ErosSTX.

Established in the year 1977, Eros International plc began its business with film acquisitions and within a couple of years, it proceeded to turn into India’s first merchants of VHS. In the year 2012, when Eros dispatched Eros Now, its digital on-request OTT platform, the organization changed completely. In the underlying dispatch stage, Eros Now began with movies and music recordings as its essential focus. From 2012 to 2018, it has added content like short movies, series, and other original productions.

The content language preferences can be selected to find the language-specific content on the app. Subscription is not needed to view content on the app, however, if you wish to watch anything, you’ll have to opt for the same.

Eros Now's plan of action is a membership-based on three kinds of subscription plans. The basic plan (in India) incorporates admittance to standard definition quality streaming at INR 49 monthly. Design and experience:

The design is simple and neat with lots of widgets like Top picks, Trending, Recommended etc. in each section which makes it easier for the user to choose content. The dark background colour makes the content stand out and the lighter text is clearly readable on all screens. The ‘See More’ option for the widgets in the app provides more options to the user such as:

  • Browsing by language
  • Black and white interviews
  • Popular in your region
  • Eros new quickie
  • New music albums
  • Shah Rukh Khan’s Fauji

And many more…

I watched the show ‘Metro Park 2: Episode 1’ as part of this review.

Eros Now is a great app for those of you who love to watch Bollywood films. They show great feature films from oldies to the most popular ones of the day. Sometimes the translation isn't 100% accurate but is relatively correct for the most part. I would definitely recommend Eros Now to any Bollywood movie buff.
