Shovan Ganguly slams trolls on social media

Singer Shovan Ganguly’s personal life has always been at the centre of people’s attention. However, he often keeps mum. The singer’s recent Insta photo is again the talk of the town. 

Shovan, after breaking up with Swastika Dutta, is now reportedly dating actress Sohini Sarkar. Once upon a time, he dated Iman Chakraborty, too. Recently, on his birthday, Shovan posted a song, which had a woman's shadow all over it. People think that Sohini was that woman. Though they did not confirm their relationship, they never denied it. In a recent interview, Sohini said that ‘they (Shovan and Sohini) are doing well’ and ‘there is nothing to talk about’. It is heard that they went to Santiniketan on Shovan's birthday. Shovan posted a video from there and he was trolled. 

Shovan was trolled for his frequent change of girlfriends. On Friday, he sang the unplugged version of the song that he had released on his birthday. Shovan said in the video, “The song is made for a special person who is on the other side of the camera. I will sing the song at that person's request...' Clearly, that person was Sohini, since she also posted some photos on Instagram from the same place. 

In the post, a person said, “Everything is fine, but you seem to beat Srabanti (Chatterjee) and Kanchan (Mullick), brother! The difference is that they break up after getting married and you do that without getting married.” Shovan retorted, “That is why I beat rather than messing up.” Shovan and Sohini came close to each other at a cultural event hosted by Jisshu Sengupta. At that time, both of them had recent breakups. Recently, in an interview with Anandabazar Online, Iman Chakraborty said that Shovan and Sohini's affair happened in front of her. However, the couple refrained from officially announcing their relationship.
