Bhediya 2: Shraddha Kapoor to feature in the Varun Dhawan starrer? Actress shares update

In 2022, Shraddha Kapoor's appearance in the special song Thumkeshwari in Bhediya surprised everyone. She starred alongside the lead actors, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. After this, we saw Varun enter the world of Stree. He also was a part of Stree 2's song, Khoobsurat. In a recent interview, Shraddha revealed whether she will be a part of Varun's Bhediya 2. 

Shraddha Kapoor in Bhediya 2?

In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Shraddha Kapoor spilled the beans about her next projects while attending the Red Sea International Film Festival 2024.

When asked if she would make a special appearance in Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya 2, the actress shared, “That only time will tell if any more cameos of mine come up in any of the other Maddock films. I don’t know yet.”

While revealing her upcoming projects, Shraddha said, "But, very soon, I will share the films that I will be doing, which I will be shooting for next year."

Update on Bhediya 2

Speaking about Varun Dhawan's Bhediya 2, the director recently told India Today that the script is not locked yet, but they have written the story and need to develop the screenplay. He also mentioned that he is not satisfied with a few parts of the story and the team is currently working on that.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar Rao said that Bhediya 2 will be released first. 

Speaking about Stree 3, Rajkummar told News18 that Stree 3 will certainly happen but not anytime soon. "We won’t be making it next year for sure because we don’t want to make just a project. Sometimes, a film does well and you would want to encash on it by making a second or a third part and you end up making it in a hurry. There’s a reason why we took six years to come up with Stree 2 after the first film," he said.
