Shraddha Shinde joins the cast for ALTBalaji’s Class Of 2020 Season 2

ALTBalaji’s Class of 2020, the Hindi web series starring Rohan Mehra, Chetna Pande, Sushant Tanwar, and Joyita Chatterjee in lead roles gathered its own fanbase for the plotline and the entertaining performance, and the cast. Created and produced by Vikas Gupta for the OTT platform, Class of 2020 that released in February last year, eyes a second season. Aarambhh Singh helmed the teen drama that is set in De Nobili High, revolving around a group of teenagers and how their lives get complicated and mixed up in teenage angst and drugs, sex and peer pressure.

And now, actress Shraddha Shinde has been signed on for the second season. She will essay the role of Aditi, Hardik Thakkar’s (Sushant Tanwar) girlfriend. As per Tellychakkar, the fresh season will have a lot of new faces.

The series is produced under Vikas Gupta’s Lost Boy Productions and is touted to be the longest series on the OTT platform. Ekta Kapoor and Vikas Gupta decided to greenlight a second season for the show following the success of the first season.

Back in July 2021, Rohan Mehra, who is known for the TV serial Sasural Simar Ka, spoke to the media about the halt in the shoot of season 2 due to the pandemic. Reflecting on the original season, he said that he was ‘thrilled’ about the series being accorded the ‘superhit status’ and that playing a character like Ibrahim was unprecedented for him. Basking in the praises for his performance, he said that people are eager to watch the new episodes. He also added that the ‘30-episode’ script gave enough scope for the writers to etch out the outline of each character.

As per reports, the adult web series will tentatively premiere in the winter this year.
